Survival and Rescue Kit (SRK24)
About 38,000 missing persons reports are received by police each year across Australia.
While most of those missing people are found within a short period of time, there are about 2,600 people who have been missing for more than three months. And Millions of people go missing worldwide each year.
A estimates that around 8 million children and adults are reported missing annually. In 2021, the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) reported 521,705 people missing, with 93,718 still missing by early 2022.
